It is a division of the celestial sphere into 12 parts, originating from Ancient Greece or even from Babylon, linking them to certain constellations. They can be divided into some groups according to elements and modality.

Elements

Each zodiac sign belongs to one of four elements. Each element represents one of the 4 essential types of energy acting in each of us.

Fire signs: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius. Passionate, dynamic, active, straightforward, extraverted.
Earth signs: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn. Grounded, realistic, practical, loyal.
Air signs: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius. Friendly, mental, analytical, communicative.
Water signs: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces. Emotional, sensitive, mysterious, introverted
