Jupiter in Leo 2026–2027: What Will Change?

June 30 – Jupiter enters Leo: a year of leadership, creativity and major global shifts

On June 30, Jupiter – the planet associated with growth, opportunity and expansion – enters Leo, where it will remain until July 26, 2027. Over the coming year, opportunities and growth will gradually shift from Cancer-related themes into the areas ruled by Leo.

Jupiter’s journey through Cancer

During its year-long transit through Cancer, Jupiter brought exactly what astrology suggested it would – strong expansion in Cancer-related areas.

First of all, real estate. Property transactions in Lithuania increased by around 10% compared with the previous year. Despite war-related concerns and drones flying close to our borders, people’s desire to own a home did not weaken. On the contrary, it became even stronger.

Another Cancer-related area is silver. During this transit its price surged dramatically, reaching an all-time high of around 230% above previous levels. Although prices later corrected, silver still remains roughly twice as expensive as before this cycle began.

A third area is Lithuania itself. According to the European Commission, Lithuania has become one of the fastest-growing economies in Europe, surpassed only by Poland. Its GDP growth has significantly exceeded the European average, confirming once again that Jupiter in Cancer has been particularly favourable for Lithuania.

This cycle has once again demonstrated how precisely astrology reflects the direction of growth associated with the zodiac sign through which Jupiter travels.

What does Jupiter in Leo bring?

Jupiter represents growth, opportunity, faith, education, authority and the overall direction of social development.

Leo is associated with leadership, power, creativity, the stage, fame, children, self-expression and personal charisma. It is also linked with gold, as well as countries such as Italy and southern France.

During this period we may expect:

  • the rise of influential leaders, public figures and opinion makers;
  • increased importance of personal brands, reputation and public image;
  • growth in creative industries, entertainment, sports and education;
  • a new wave of artists and creators, together with further expansion of the beauty industry;
  • a stronger desire to be seen, recognised and appreciated for one’s talents;
  • increasing value of authentic human individuality in the age of artificial intelligence;
  • greater public interest in investing, speculation and financial risk-taking.

Who may benefit the most?

This cycle may be especially favourable for:

  • business owners, executives and people in leadership positions;
  • artists, performers, athletes and influencers;
  • those building their personal brand or professional reputation;
  • people working with children, education, creativity or leisure activities;
  • anyone willing to step forward, show their talents and take initiative.

History is likely to revolve around strong personalities, leadership and creativity.

But there is another side…

This cycle is more complex than usual.

For most of Jupiter’s stay in Leo, it will travel together with the South Lunar Node (Ketu), which represents the opposite principle: completion, karmic lessons and limitations.

Ketu enters Leo on July 27, reducing and testing Jupiter’s expansive influence.

(You can read more about the Lunar Nodes here.)

What could this mean?

Powerful leaders and public figures will certainly remain important, but many will also face serious tests. Some may lose influence altogether as older systems gradually give way to new ones. Periods like this often coincide with profound changes in global leadership and the world order.

Gold prices may become increasingly volatile, although gold itself is likely to strengthen its role as a symbol of security and protection.

Italy may attract attention through its elegance, beauty and luxurious lifestyle, while simultaneously going through its own process of correction and renewal.

The Jupiter–South Node conjunction

The strongest expression of these themes comes when Jupiter and the South Node form an exact conjunction.

This occurs on November 11, only a few months after the August eclipse season, which already points toward an important period of corrections and global adjustments. August through late autumn therefore looks likely to become one of the most eventful periods of the year.

Looking back, the previous Jupiter–South Node conjunction in Leo occurred in September 1990, during one of the most historically significant turning points after the Second World War.

Among the key events were:

  • the Bush–Gorbachev summit in Helsinki, marking the winding down of the Cold War;
  • the Treaty on German reunification;
  • Gorbachev receiving extraordinary powers to implement economic reforms;
  • the escalation of the Gulf Crisis, with President Bush announcing that military force could be used to liberate Kuwait if necessary.

That cycle coincided with:

  • the reunification of Germany;
  • the Gulf Crisis and tensions surrounding oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz;
  • the formal end of the Cold War;
  • the collapse of the Soviet Union;
  • the emergence of a new world order;
  • the disappearance of old political borders and outdated ideologies.

Summary

As expected, Jupiter in Cancer stimulated the real estate market, supported the surge in silver prices and coincided with one of the strongest periods of economic growth in Lithuania.

Jupiter in Leo opens important opportunities for creators, leaders, public figures, luxury industries and entertainment.

However, because Jupiter travels together with the South Node, this expansion comes with tests. Success will not be automatic. Leaders, authorities and creators will have to prove that they truly deserve their position. Those who fail may be replaced by new faces.

Gold could experience significant price swings, especially from August through autumn, while continuing to strengthen its role as a long-term store of value.

Italy is also likely to draw considerable attention, while undergoing its own process of renewal and letting go of outdated structures.

The most significant global changes are likely between August and November, during the eclipse season and the Jupiter–South Node conjunction. Renewed tensions around the Strait of Hormuz, disruptions to oil supplies and changes among world leaders are all possible manifestations of this cycle.

In my next article, I will look at what Jupiter in Leo means for each zodiac sign individually.
