October is one of the most complicated months this year, unsuitable for starting new tasks, important activities, or making significant purchases. It is crucial to preserve what we have, maintain balance, review the past, and select what is most essential. We must understand what needs to be corrected and avoid getting involved in conflicts and dramas, although the temptation may be there. Why?

Planetary positions in October

For most of the month, the Sun will travel together with Ketu in Libra, and it is a karmically conditioned time when we experience the consequences of our already-made actions when energy and attention are turning back.

Most of October is covered by the eclipse corridor – the time between two eclipses. The first, a Solar eclipse, will form on October 14, together with the New Moon in Libra. The second, a lunar eclipse, will form on October 28, with the Moon in Taurus and the Sun in Scorpio. Thus, the first eclipse will affect more the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn), while the second one – fixed zodiac signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius).

Both eclipses will occur near Ketu, so they are more about stopping and raising the consequences of actions than opening new paths. Therefore, it is better to be an observer rather than an actor throughout October, observe emerging events, and understand and make conclusions about where the great wave of events is heading.

In public life, the search for justice will stand out, laws will be reviewed. Personally, it is a time for relationships and values review.

The first two decades of the month will be dominated by Libra’s energies and programs, while the third decade will be influenced by Scorpio.

The planets in the elements will be distributed roughly equally for most of the month, only the fire element will be slightly expressed.

Air element

The Sun (until the 23rd) and Mercury (5-23) will be in Libra, next to Ketu. This will provide consciousness and thoughts with retrospection, turning to the past, its review, analyzing, and comparing how actions were taken, and what their consequences are. Great importance is given to relationships and partnerships. Negatively, doubts, a sense of ending, and disappointment may increase. Positively, it is a time when one can see the consequences of actions, choose what was good and what was bad, make corrections, and conclusions for the future, and learn from one’s experience. It is essential to maintain a light, clear view, and core values.

Earth element

Venus (from the 9th) in Virgo, Jupiter, and Uranus (all month) in Taurus. This will provide practicality, immediacy, methodicalness, love for the Earth, and practical insights. It is necessary to avoid clinginess, and irritability in relationships, which can be encouraged by the complicated position of Venus and Lilith traveling next to it.

Water element

Most of the month, Mars (from the 12th) will be in Scorpio, Saturn, and Neptune (all month) in Pisces. Mars will be in its strong, combative position. Positively, it will help accumulate courage, say “no” where it is necessary, defend one’s interests, and values. Negatively, it will ignite disputes, and wars, stimulate passions, and ambitions, which should be avoided, especially in the eclipse zone. Neptune will also be in a strong position, providing spirituality, but it can encourage intoxication for the unstable ones. Saturn demands introducing discipline in spiritual life, developing spiritual resilience, and in a disharmonious sense, not making decisions in spiritual life can lead to depression.

October can be divided into three parts.

I. Calmer part – Libra – 1-8d.

This is the best, calmest part of the month, so if you need to decide or do something, it’s best to do it by the 8th of October. After that, the Moon will be too old, plus we will enter the most intensive eclipse zone (which is a week before and a week after the eclipse, so in this case, it includes October 7 – November 5).

The Sun and Mercury will be in Libra, Venus (until the 9th) in Leo, Mars (until the 12th) in Libra, so this time of the month is relatively more favorable for air and fire sign representatives. Nevertheless, the whole month is unfavorable for new works, but events, and plentiful, can form just by themselves due to actions taken in the past, karma.

Lilith will move from Leo to Virgo on October 3rd. This will clarify the situation for Leo sign representatives, as well as for arts, education, management, and entertainment fields, now the trials will move to Virgos and to the fields of pharmacy, medicine, social care, administration, crafts, and services. II. Solar Eclipse in Libra period – 8-23d.

The thickest eclipse zone includes a week before and a week after the eclipse, so it will especially be felt from the 8th day, with the old Moon phase. This is not a good time not only for new work but also for planning. It is important to finish, repay debts, and abandon what is old, and unnecessary: harmful habits, worn-out relationships, and stale, ineffective activities. This time will help to complete this.

The Solar Eclipse will form on the 14th, right after the New Moon, at 20:59. The strongest influence will be felt by law enforcement, legislative areas, Libra, Capricorn, Aries, and Cancer sign representatives, outdated relationships may break off, and ineffective laws reviewed, looking for the guilty. Especially since Mars in Scorpio, in a fierce position, will heat passions and ambitions. It is good to direct its energy into physical activity, and start sports, it will be easier to say “no”, and defend your interests.

Worst days: 9,10,13, 14, 18, 21, 22, 23.

III. Scorpionic part. Lunar Eclipse period 23-31d.

On the 23rd, the Sun will move from Libra to Scorpio and will approach opposition with the Moon, the full moon will coincide with the Lunar Eclipse. On the one hand, consciousness is more conditioned by the past, on the other hand, strong oppositions will emerge, which will need to be sought, how to reconcile.

Alongside the Sun Mercury (from the 22nd) will also travel in Scorpio, this will make the mind sharp, but also sarcastic. In a good sense, the mind should be directed towards the knowledge of the world’s secrets and the depths of your psyche. This may be a good time for regression, psychic transformation, cutting off harmful habits, and behavioral patterns. The worst would be to suppress tension with alcohol, and other intoxicants – it would consolidate for a long time. This time is more favorable for resolute, strong-willed people, able to control emotions and their energy, directing it to important goals.

Strong Mars (in Scorpio) and weak, complicated Venus (in Virgo) will make the period unfavorable for creating coziness, love, or tenderness, more important will be spiritual strength, strong will, sharp mind, and business plan creation, but it is very important not to lose love, compassion, not to destroy relationships.

The period is more favorable for water sign representatives, and Capricorn.

Both in social and personal life, we experience the consequences of actions taken, which will be highlighted along with October eclipses.
