2024: A Leap into the Aquarian Age?

The period from 2020 to 2026 marks a zone of significant transformations, a time of exceptional changes, and a substantial leap into a new era, the Age of Aquarius. Why is this so?

In January 2020, the conjunction of Saturn and Pluto occurred. This happens approximately every 35 years, signifying major socio-economic shifts. At the end of 2020, in December, the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius, known as the Great Conjunction (or Grand Conjunction), took place. This conjunction, which typically occurs every 20 years and heralds a change in power, was especially notable this time as it happened as the planets moved into a new element. This happens every 200 years. According to ancient astrological sources, this signifies a change in dynasties (or in contemporary terms, a complete overhaul of governance and societal systems, marking a shift to a different societal paradigm). Thus, the pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine conflict are the beginnings of significant global transformations, bringing about fundamental changes and redistribution of resources and power worldwide.
Following these conjunctions, which unleashed powerful changes and opened a zone of transformation, the years 2023-2026 are characterised by shifts in the positions of all outer planets in the Solar System (known in astrology as ingresses). Uranus (associated with changes and innovations), Neptune (associated with creativity and spirituality), and Pluto (associated with transformation) are changing their positions in the zodiac. It means that reality is fundamentally changing and a new era is emerging.

Pluto transits from Capricorn into Aquarius

Between 2023-2024, Pluto moves from Capricorn into Aquarius and will firmly establish itself in Aquarius until 2043, activating a powerful, essential societal transformation. Along with this transit, humanity takes a significant step into the Age of Aquarius and begins to settle into it.

Pluto first moved into Aquarius in the spring of 2023, during April-May. It will be in Aquarius again from January 21 to September 2, 2024. Finally, it will make its permanent transit into Aquarius on November 19, 2024, and will remain in this sign for about 19 years, until March 2043.

Therefore, essential events and transformations (which are also associated with Pluto) will occur in the realms of Aquarius. This implies that:

IT, virtual space, and artificial intelligence will become an inseparable and significant part of life, influencing all sectors.
The influence of communities in society will increase, with people tending to gather into communities based on beliefs, lifestyles, and convictions rather than nationality or other factors.
Information, new technologies, and scientific discoveries will become the main currency;
Teamwork will become crucial, along with freedom and choice.
Space exploration will expand (or be expanded), bringing the realisation that we are not only terrestrial beings but also cosmic entities.

Whether these changes will be harmonious in a general sense depends on each of us. Will scientific discoveries and new technologies provide assistance and free up time for creativity, or will people become captives of these advancements? These are complex questions that we all need to address. However, Aquarius brings parallelism, simultaneously opening multiple possibilities, and allowing for choice according to needs.

Uranus transits from Taurus into Gemini

Between 2025-2026, Uranus moves from Taurus to Gemini and will stay there until 2033, further emphasising the importance of intellect, information, communications, and IT in social life. Information technology and communication tools will develop at an astronomical pace, leading to huge scientific discoveries that fundamentally change our understanding of the world, and space exploration will advance.

While travelling through Taurus, Uranus established electronic money, which has fundamentally replaced paper money and brought significant changes to the financial system. Moving into Gemini, it will bring sudden and significant changes in communications and science, spurring both inventions and their application in life. Communication will become even more dynamic, quickly reaching any part of the world.

This is the generation that will step into cosmic space as their own domain. Pluto in Aquarius will open this up to the masses, not just the chosen few. Humanity will come to understand itself as a cosmic race. This is an intriguing phenomenon that, I hope, many of us will experience. We are likely ready for this. Many aspects of science fiction movies will become reality.

Neptune transits from Pisces into Aries

Between 2025-2026, Neptune will move from Pisces to Aries and will stay there until the end of 2039. This will bring great dynamism and revolutionary changes in social life. The speed and dynamics of changes and transformations will be very significant. The dominant energies will be those of initiative and action, with key importance given to will, intellect, insight, quick adaptation, and openness to technology and innovation. This speed is currently hard to imagine but is feasible, considering recent years.

While travelling through Pisces, Neptune expanded spirituality. Yoga and meditation have finally become normal in society, no longer associated with sectarianism or oddities. Entering Aries, it will open a different understanding of spirituality, bold and decisive. It will be less associated with emotions and more with actions. Spirituality will increasingly move away from religion, focusing more on an independent connection with the spirit or God.
