Planetary positions and aspects in 2022

All distant planets except Jupiter will remain in the same Zodiac signs all the year. Saturn will reside in Aquarius, Uranus in Taurus, Neptune in Pisces, Pluto in Capricorn. So the transformation of the economy and the society will continue, but the impulses of spirituality, creativity, solidarity, and compassion will also be evident.

Lunar Nodes will remain on the same axis throughout the year also – Rahu will stay in Taurus, Ketu in Scorpio. It brings some hope and compassion to our life. 

The only disharmonious aspect,  Saturn-Uranus square, will occur in September-October. This aspect dominated all 2021, causing many tensions, so the conflict of restrictions and freedom can emerge in 2022, September-October too. However, the pandemic situation should end there. In general, the economic issues and the need to solve financial problems will be crucial this year.

Several harmonious and creative aspects will form at the beginning of the year: this will be Jupiter-Uranus sextile (in February), Jupiter-Neptune conjunction (in April), and Jupiter-Pluto sextile (in early May). So the first four months of the year will bring us hope and awakens spirituality in personal and social life. But for some, it can bring frustration or intrigues too.

The middle of the year will bring us the courage to take action and innovations, but for some, it may provoke aggression and conflicts too. In November-December, the topics of the beginning of the year will return.

2022 is the year of the Tiger. Is it so?

2022 is the year of the Water Tiger, according to Chinese tradition. The year of the Tiger is associated with Jupiter’s position in Pisces. It is the strong position of Jupiter, so the year is considered to be successful, strong by the power of spirit, justice, compassion, and creativity. It is the year of leaders, brave, inspired, and creative persons.

However, in the 2022 year, Jupiter in Pisces will stay relatively short, only half a year: from the beginning of the year until May 11 and from October 28 until December 20. For the rest of the time, it will travel through Aries, testing the following year’s programs. So innovation, rebellion, freedom, and the courage to follow uncharted paths will become important this part of the year.

 So there are two parts to this year. Pisces and the water element will dominate in the first part. The second part is fiery, with the dominance of  Aries.

Part I. Domination of Pisces and Water element

These periods will be from the beginning to May 11 and from October 29 to December 20.

 It’s a more introverted period. The inner world, creativity, connection to the spirit, and the ability to embrace the big picture become essential this time. This year’s leading planet duet will be Jupiter and Neptune, with some influence of Saturn and Uranus.

Fortunately, Jupiter has essentially only harmonious aspects during this period: sextile with Uranus (in mid-February), conjunction with Neptune (in mid-April), sextile with Pluto (in early May). Water and Earth signs are successful this period, so they are favorable to begin the essential works in this part of the year.

Compassion, charity, inspired creation, spirituality, hope, and faith are the best qualities of this period. But for someone, it can bring intrigues, seduction, detachment from reality, and fatalism too.

Part II. Domination of Aries and Fire element 

These periods will last from May 11 to October 29 and from December 20 to the end of the year.

It is a more extraverted, more combative period, especially since August-October, when Mars will form a lot of squares, and the square of Saturn-Uranus will be approaching, as well as the period of eclipses. This period awakes courage, fightingness, and willingness to take risks. The element of fire and Mars combined with Neptune and Saturn becomes essential. Mars will be in a strong position in June when he travels in Aries with Jupiter. Vigorous programs and moods will occur in May-October and take place until November. It is favorable to undertake the most important business for the Fire and Air zodiac signs in this period.

Uranus-Saturn square will occur in September-October, so it can assume that this time will return some tendencies of 2021, such as some restrictions and a fight for freedom.

This period brings vitality, breaking out of oppression, and the courage to fight for one’s rights, but it can bring impulsivity, reckless actions, and aggression for someone.

We must learn to use resources wisely, create beauty in the environment, and spread peace.
